Currently the process entails filling
out application forms in branches. These forms are then scanned and the relevant
information is recaptured on a number of systems:
- External credit bureau for credit history
- Scoring engine
- Mainframe system for loan offer generation
- Payment files are generated and submitted to the client’s bank. Payment occurs
within a number of business days
- HR system for commissions calculation
- MIS system for management reporting and statistics The loan granting process takes
a number of business days.
